Summary
During the span of my 18-month contract at Assiniboine College, I’ve had the pleasure of working on a wide breadth of projects for nearly every department at the school.
The pieces I have designed for the college have been used in both internal and external advertising. Most of the work I’ve designed has utilized Assiniboine’s own brand, both prior to and following the college’s major rebrand in June 2024. However, I have also worked with Assiniboine’s internal subsidiary brands: the Russ Edwards School of Agriculture and Environment and the Peters School of Business, both with distinct visual styles.
Much of what I’ve designed for print includes posters, postcards, bookmarks, and other similar promotional materials. I have also designed several publications, including the 2025-26 Program Calendar, the 2023-24 Annual Applied Research Report, and the Summer 2025 edition of the Assiniboine Effect alumni magazine. As part of my role at Assiniboine, I also had the added privilege of working in the college print shop. This allowed me to not only create designs for print, but also see projects through to the end of the printing process as well.
Digitally, I’ve created social media graphics, web assets, and templates for programs such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. I also worked on a refresh of the emblems for Assiniboine’s STELLAR and RAVE awards, as well as a refresh of the college’s Indigenous Affairs logo.
Below, I have highlighted a few notable projects that I worked on during my time at the college, as well as a gallery of some assorted designs that I hope serves to capture the kind of work I completed at Assiniboine on a daily basis.
